7/8” thick x 11" wide x 25” long. These boards are long enough for a baguette but not made just for cutting baguettes. Made from walnut, maple, and cherry. These boards do not have polyurethane feet so you can use both sides. End grain boards are extremely durable and desired for their "self healing" properties. Knife cuts go between the wood fibers rather then cutting through them. These fibers close back up after the knife exits. The end grain also helps keep your knives sharp longer. Each board is finished with FDA approved tung oil and cutting board conditioning wax. Unlike mineral oil which is commonly used on cutting boards, tung oil cures hard which creates a protective, water proof barrier ensuring that your cutting board will last for years
